Jessica R. Murphy, ARNP, has lived in the Tri-Cities for the past 17 years. Jessica grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, where she graduated from Desales Catholic High School. Jessica continued her education at Walla Walla Community College and earned her Associate's in Nursing in 2007. From ther,e she graduated from Western Governors University with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2017. In 2019, Jessica’s drive for education allowed her to obtain her Post-Master Certificate in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
While putting herself through school, Jessica enjoyed a 12-year career as a registered nurse prior to working as a nurse practitioner, where she was quickly promoted to Lead Nurse Practitioner. “My philosophy of nursing was firmly rooted in beliefs that were ingrained in me as a child. These standards taught me to combine the need for respect, trustworthiness, and compassion. I believe my success as a nurse practitioner requires me to accept accountability for being a strong advocate for my patients and their loved ones.”
When Jessica is not taking care of patients, she enjoys gardening, traveling, playing sports, and spending time with her husband, kids, and their dogs.
Very through in her patient education.
