She took time to explain she made me feel at ease. She was so kind I really felt good she took time and let me know she was there for any questions I had.

Her review of the ultrasound taken of my leg consisted of her rapidly pointing at and reading numbers on a piece of paper. When I asked what those numbers meant she said “millimeters”. No larger picture explanation and she was impatient when I asked further questions. She established no rapport and had no warmness. She spoke very rapidly using technical language. As I was trying digest one technical sentence she was already on to the next one with terms and acronyms a layperson would not understand without context. Terrible communication skills. I am a retired engineer with sound cognitive ability and never had this issue with a health care provider in my life.
