The NP was overall polite, but I felt dismissed and not fully heard during my appointment. I shared that I am active and training for an athletic event, and was told very bluntly that it was not approved and was unsafe, without much discussion of my personal health history, fitness background, or modifications. I would have appreciated a more collaborative, individualized conversation rather than a blanket statement. As a patient, I value being supported and educated, not just discouraged.

Jessica Aguilar, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who has served the Las Vegas community for over a decade. With a deep-rooted passion for supporting growing families, Jessica combines ten years of nursing experience with advanced clinical training to provide compassionate, holistic care to her patients at MyOBGYN.
Jessica has been a licensed nurse practitioner since 2017.
