Jennifer Hensley, FNP, graduated with her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from Indiana University in 2006. She went to Valparaiso University to get her BS in nursing in 2008. Jennifer did her graduate work as Family Nurse Practitioner at Purdue University. She came to work for Woodlawn in 2010.
“I love the closeness of the employees here at Woodlawn. We all know each other, which makes coming to work so easy when you enjoy all your co-workers. Everyone is very caring and a joy to work with,” Jennifer responded.
When asked what she loves about orthopedics, she answered, “I enjoy helping people get back to doing what they love. I find orthopedics fascinating and have loved working with the sports population since I am passionate about athletics. Assisting in surgery is also one of my favorite things.”
When she is not taking care of patients or assisting in surgery, Jennifer enjoys anything outdoors, including deer hunting, and pheasant hunting with her two Brittany spaniels. She also enjoys sports, from watching to participating and coaching.
