We had a wonderful experience with our midwife at today’s appointment, which made it especially meaningful knowing it was her last day before moving back to California. She has always been caring, attentive, and truly dedicated, and today was no different. She took her time with us, made my wife feel supported, and brought a calm, positive presence that we’ve come to really appreciate. She has been an incredible part of our journey, and it’s clear she is a huge asset to any practice. She will definitely be missed.

Dr. Janice was on call and not the doctor I originally expected to deliver my baby, and honestly my hospital experience hadn’t been going very well up until I met her. From the moment she walked in, she completely changed the energy in the room.
She made me feel so comfortable, supported, and calm during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. Her bedside manner is incredible.
she explained things clearly, reassured me, and made the whole experience feel so much less scary than it had been earlier.
I truly never imagined I’d be having such a good conversation and actually laughing while pushing, but that’s exactly what happened. She brought such a warm, positive presence to my delivery, and I’ll always be grateful she was the one there to bring my baby into the world.

Originally from California, Janice Enriquez, DNP, APRN, CNM, WHNP-BC, CBCN, has lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years. She has several years of experience working as an RN in oncology and labor and delivery.
She obtained her nursing degrees in California and recently completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at UNLV. Janice is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in women’s health and is dually board-certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife and as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
In addition to being a midwife, Janice has worked in specialty areas that include reproductive health and breast care. She is also a Certified Breast Care Nurse.
Janice is passionate about teaching and has been a clinical instructor for College of Southern Nevada’s nursing program, and is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
In her free time, Janice enjoys spending time with her 4 kids, husband, and her crazy beagle. She is also an avid reader, loves the Vegas Golden Knights, and the San Francisco 49ers. She is devoted to the well-being of the members of the Las Vegas community and volunteers her time for various causes.
