Myself and my family love having Janell as my children’s doctor. Especially my almost now 13 year old. She’s always straightforward and a great listener of concerns. My daughter has been made to feel comfortable from the start seeing her enough to where they’ve developed a great doctor and patient relationship. Just seen her recently and she’s really put my daughter at ease just coming in and talking to her about her own concerns. It was a huge moment to have my daughter not just reach out comfortably to her school nurse but to trust and communicate at her age and express her needs and knowing that her doctor was just the person for that. We’ve only been in this office since a move from out of state almost 3 years ago. Janelle and her great staff have made switching to a new doctors office so simple and comfortable. She’s definitely a rising doctor 👩⚕️ in her field. I hope to have her for my kids through the rest of the childhood years! Thanks for all you do!

Janell Mulligan, FNP, has her Master of Science in Nursing as an AANP Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Degree obtained from Purdue Global in 2021. Upon graduation, Woodlawn welcomed her into the Pediatrics clinic to work alongside pediatricians Dr. Feldman and Dr. Reyburn. There, she has found joy in “watching kiddos hit milestones and being a part of their journey as a guide and positive role model.”
She has been with Woodlawn Hospital since 2012 as a registered nurse working in our critical care department. After a decade of dedicated work with Woodlawn, when asked what she likes about working at Woodlawn, she responded, “The staff is kind and compassionate. We have the honor to care for our neighbors and community.”
Outside in the community, you can find Janell helping out on the softball fields with her girls and walking the beautiful Woodlawn trail with the family dog. She enjoys relaxing with a good book, gardening, and being outdoors.
