Inez King, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned both her Bachelor's and Master's of Nursing Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
She began her nursing career in 1988 in Harlingen, TX. Over her 30 years of nursing experience, she has worked in different health care settings, including hospitals, specialty care, and home health. Some of her hospital specialties include postpartum, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, pediatrics, and recovery room experience.
In 2002, she started her advance nursing as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Serving in her local community for the last 15 years, she is trained in diagnosing and treating the entire family from infants to geriatrics.
Before joining San Antonio Family Physicians, Inez was the founder and president of Healing Hands Family Care in Helotes, Texas.

Inez consistently takes the time to thoroughly review all of my medical concerns. She asks thoughtful questions, listens attentively, and provides detailed explanations in a way that is easy for me to understand. Her professionalism, patience, and clear communication make me feel informed, valued, and confident in the care I receive. I truly appreciate her dedication and compassionate approach.
Inez is very caring, most thorough in her examination and care for the patient. I can honestly state that I am very glad I got to see her for my care and don’t have to dread a visit to the doctor!

Could not ask for a more friendly, warm, personable provider. I get anxiety when going to the doctor because I’m expecting to be lectured or scolded or judged for any bad outcomes, but I never leave her office feeling that way. She knows her stuff and she has an amazing bedside manner and warmth to her. So glad I found her! She explains things and presents options with all the details so you don’t feel like she’s dictating, you feel like she’s helping you make an informed decision.
