This was my first visit. However she is extremely personable, she made me feel very comfortable. She was thorough, I left the office feeling like something was finally being done.

With a proactive learning approach and a commitment to patient safety and advocacy, Heather has established herself as a trusted healthcare provider known for her compassionate care and clinical proficiency.
Since January 2020, Heather has served as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, collaborating closely with interventional cardiologists and electrophysiology specialists. In this role, she admits, consults, evaluates, and treats patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions, including acute coronary syndrome (ACS), coronary artery disease (CAD), heart failure, and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Heather is also actively involved in electrophysiology, assisting intraoperatively with procedures such as cryoablation and device placement/extraction.
Prior to her current position, Heather gained valuable experience in critical care settings, including her role as a Cardiothoracic Critical Care Nurse at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Here, she managed complex patients requiring intensive care interventions, including the administration of inotropic agents, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). In addition to her clinical experience, Heather served in the United States Army, where she held the rank of Sergeant and received commendations for her exemplary service.
