Guadalupe Cavada, MSN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled healthcare professional with over eight years of nursing experience in prestigious, magnet-recognized hospitals. Guadalupe earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at Bradley University in 2022. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which provided a solid foundation for her holistic approach to patient care.

Throughout her career, Guadalupe has worked in highly specialized units, including the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Rush University Medical Center and the Adult Hematology/Oncology Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In these roles, she has managed critically ill patients, administered chemotherapy and biotherapy, monitored life-support equipment, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. As a charge nurse and preceptor, she has demonstrated leadership by mentoring new staff and nursing students, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
