Gina Sorrentino is incredibly kind, outgoing, and truly caring. She was so gentle and bubbly with our 6 month old, and she put my mind at ease by answering all my questions as a first time parent. I cannot recommend her enough.

Gina graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut in 2018. Gina worked as a registered nurse at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New Yorik for two years, rotating through the neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care unit, Pediatric Emergency Department, and general pediatric floors. Moving to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2020, she began the Doctor of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner Program at UNCW. While completing the program, Gina worked at a local pediatrician’s office in Wilmington and fell in love with the area. When Gina is not working, you can find her at the beach, golfing, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She values evidence-based practice while placing emphasis on working collaboratively alongside patients and their families to provide the highest quality patient care.
