Eric Van Bean is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Eric earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree at the Massachusetts College of Art. After graduation he taught and directed at an after school enrichment program for thirteen years. He then attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School and earned his nursing certificate and Masters of Science in Nursing. As a registered nurse Eric worked on a medical/surgical hospital floor, in pediatric home health and in addiction services. He then spent three years working at Boston Health Care for the Homeless as a primary care Nurse Practitioner in a outpatient clinic and in an inpatient medical respite unit.
After moving to Southern Oregon he worked in primary care for four years before joining Southern Oregon Cardiology.
Eric, his wife and daughter love all that Southern Oregon has to offer. Outside of work Eric enjoys time with his family, running, cycling, gardening, drawing, live music, snowboarding and painting.
