Prior to joining University Orthopedics, Emily practiced in the inpatient setting specializing in both Neurosurgery and Internal Medicine. She has a vested interest in caring for high risk populations with multiple comorbidities and enjoys helping patients navigate the complexities of what is now a very overwhelming and specialized healthcare system. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and lots of family and friends. She loves the beach and the mountain, but spends most of her spare time cheering her kids on at the hockey rink.

I don’t understand how Emily the nurse practitioner is qualified to read an MRI.I would like a report on my MRI.I was told to get myself a good back doctor to repair a bone break I might have cause of my osteoporosis. I thought that would be Dr. Basque . I heard he was very good.Emily said if I suffer a break I would be treated by an in house doctor, probably at Kent. I already saw a back doctor at Kent, a David Cicerchia, who said I have stenosis. Emily says I have facet arthritis, not stenosis.Emily said I could see a Tian, so I will check in with Dr. Tian to answer my questions about my painful condition, before I get into PT. I am confused and frustrated.
I am so blessed to have Emily taking care of me now. She goes above and beyond. I have been suffering for 15 years with pain. Today I have no pain and dropping some of the medication that affected my daily life.
Emily was amazing to see today. I am very confident she will figure out my complex nerve problem.
Emily was excellent and very knowledgeable. She also has very good customer service skills. She explained my test results and plans going forward thoroughly.
