Elynelle was very professional and kind at the same time. I appreciate how she was thorough and caught things in my husband’s labs that his own PCP hadn’t mentioned or followed up on. Thank you, Elynelle!

I thought Ms Moaje was very pleasant however I’m not sure she realized that I was a retired registered nurse and I felt like she spoke to me as if I didn’t understand the medical issues that I am dealing with .
Elynelle “Joy” Moaje joined Durham Nephrology in 2019. Previously she worked as a nurse for Duke for many years. She was also a Doctor of Medicine in the Philippines before moving to the United States. Joy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of St. La Salle in 1995. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2018. She works with the physicians helping to take care of patients at Duke Regional Hospital, several Fresenius dialysis units and Durham Nephrology’s Durham and Oxford offices.
