All I wanted was confirmation that I had not lost heart muscle by a Troponin test. She said it could not be done in the office but only at the hospital so 4 hours later when I had not gotten past triage and was stuck back in a cold what felt like cattle pen, in pain, cold and very uncomfortable I had to leave to get home and take something for the pain, get a warm cup of tea and something to eat. Not the Springhill i remember. Also she wrote on her note that I had come in for a routine checkup rather than the truth that I had come there because of chest pain.
