I rarely leave negative reviews, but I left my appointment feeling completely dismissed and unheard. I went in with clear thyroid symptoms and recent lab results showing elevated antibodies, yet the nurse practitioner brushed off my concerns and told me “there’s not much you can do.” Her only suggestion was to double my medication dose one day a week — no effort to investigate root causes, discuss nutrient deficiencies, or adjust treatment in a thoughtful way.
I’ve been managing hypothyroidism for years and expected a professional who would listen and collaborate on my care. Instead, I left with no real answers and no plan. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and to have their symptoms taken seriously
