Denys Crater FNP-BC

Denys Crater, FNP-BC, grew up in Braidwood, an area she as lived in her whole life. Denys completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. After 10+ years as a stay at home mom, she went back to school to become a nurse. Denys is a trauma certified registered nurse and worked as an RN in the Emergency Department for many years before becoming a nurse practitioner. Denys is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and she is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center).

Denys has four children and spends much of her free time attending their many activities which include soccer games, softball games, and band concerts. She has 2 dogs and a chinchilla named Pablo! Denys loves to garden, camp, read, and cook. Denys is also an avid deer and turkey hunter and she can be found sitting in a tree stand or a deer blind on cold fall and winter mornings.
