Delores E. Vandegrift, APN

Delores E. Vandegrift, APN, is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Prior to receiving her master's of science in nursing from Seton Hall University, she earned an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Delaware and her diploma in nursing from Saint Francis Medical Center School of Nursing.

Delores has experience in both hospital and pediatric practice settings. She has extensive experience in hospital-based maternal-newborn care, including experience in a level II neonatal intensive care unit, as she has a special interest in newborn and infant care. Delores has also worked as a Lactation Consultant and in Public Health nursing. She has developed and presented a clinical education lecture to nurse practitioner students during their residency education at Seton Hall University.

Delores is a recipient of the Experiential Education award and the Amy York scholarship at Seton Hall University. During her nursing education, she has been awarded for her exceptional bedside manner. In addition, during her nursing career, she has also been nominated for the Nursing Excellence award and the Daisy Nursing Award. Delores is a member of the national honor society of nursing, Sigma Theta Tau. and is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the New Jersey chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Delores enjoys traveling with her family, music, and photography.
