Cristina Medina, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, born and raised the suburbs of D.C. She attended University of Maryland College Park for her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. After a few years working as a fitness instructor, she went back to school at Marymount University to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She worked in inpatient / outpatient adult cardiology at MedStar Washington Hospital center for some years and then returned to school at George Washington University where she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Since earning her FNP, she has working in pediatric primary care and loves promoting healthy lifestyles and a holistic approach to health care for her patients and their families!
In her spare time Cristina loves to read, travel, exercise, and hangout with friends. She’s excited to join the WOP team and can’t wait to be a part of your child’s health journey!
