She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the SUNY College at Brockport in Brockport, New York, and her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Outside of work, she is married with two children. She also has a dog, an Akita. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the great outdoors.
