I’ve only dealt with nurse Adamson once so my rating could change but I’m relatively new to cardiac care and I didn’t quite feel she was really listening to me when I discussed some symptoms I was experiencing with my blood pressure medication changes that had been made in recent months. I make this judgement cal based on the fact the notes included in my visit notes that they gave me later included the words “chest Pain” and “shortness of breath” and I never complained or even mentioned those symptoms, which I did not experience and have not experienced at all during the course of my beginning care with Midwest Cardiovascular Institute. Later on another date and not related to nurse Adamson but to other staff members, when I described what I was experiencing I felt like they were in too much of a rush to really listen to me as well. I’m strongly considering changing my cardiology care to another clinic if I don’t feel like I’m being heard.

Left the office in “a fib”. When I’m in it, I’m very uncomfortable. Left arm and left side feels very tight. Not to much explanation as to how I should deal with it till I see dr Casey in a week.

Hi Kathy Joe Martucci I enjoyed visiting with you on my last appointment. I have a question when you accidentally or forget, you’re supposed to have the heart monitor no more than 10 feet apart from you what happens to the registration on the monitor? Is that going to affect my grading or reading when I turn it in after 30 days how does that work? There were a few times maybe a half a dozen times that I walked away from the monitor more than 10 feet still having the units out of my chest please send me or call me with a response 630-209-0006 cell phone. Thank you very much, I have that endoscopy on the 22nd of this month. I will ask them if they allow you to leave the monitor on the chest or if they want me to take it off.

I was called in by a girl named ( ISMAR) one day notice for a Echo and never had infact nobody knew why I was there. I wasted 2 hours at clinic still left with many questions and no answers. Then they schedule me for one in Naperville on this Friday 3pm. Which is too soon to check blood pressure daily.

Didn't know my case and gave generic advise rather than contextual

Cathy only had patience for about 3 questions after my angioplasty/stent surgery, at which point she became notably impatient and defensive. A stent was inserted for a 70-80% blockage in one artery, but nothing was done for my 50-60% blocked artery. When I asked for data to explain why, she just replied that that is the way it's done and was defensive that I was looking for a concrete answer. She said I should discuss with my cardiologist at the next appt and I said that appt was not in my discharge papers and she said it was and walked out of the room. No, it was not in my discharge papers from the procedure. Another nurse helped me find out when it was scheduled.
