When Catherine Ferguson, FNP-C, decided to pursue a career in healthcare, she knew she wanted to make people feel better—not just physically, but emotionally too. Her journey began as a pharmacy messenger at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she first witnessed the impact compassionate care can have on patients. After five years working in the lab, she realized her true calling was to connect directly with patients and decided to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Catherine is passionate about helping her patients understand their medical conditions, treatment options, and care plans. Her favorite part of the job is hearing her patients say she made them feel better and took the time to truly listen. She believes that trust, respect, and laughter are the foundations of a strong patient-provider relationship.
She joined P3 Health Partners because she believes in the P3 care model and the positive outcomes it brings to patient care. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and teammates while practicing preventive, whole-person care.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys paddleboarding with her son, hiking and kickboxing with her sisters, and visiting her daughter in Seattle. She’s a fan of dancing, basketball, trying new foods, and winding down with a good movie or book. Known for her humor and empathy, she prides herself on making people laugh and feel at ease. Her advice to patients reflects her own philosophy: stay active, eat well, and remember that exercise supports both physical and mental health.
