She graduated with her Bachelors of Nursing from Northern Illinois University, her Masters of Nursing from Simmons University in Boston and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University with honors. She has worked in the field of Urology for over 25 years beginning as a Medical Assistant, becoming a Nurse and now joining Advanced Urology Associates as a Nurse Practitioner.

She is a member of the Society of Urological Nurses and Associates (SUNA) as a board certified Urology Nurse Practitioner, Sigma Theta Tau honors society and licensed through American Academy Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Urology is her passion and professional focus. She believes in a team approach while empowering patients to be active participants in their care. She specializes in urinary & bowel incontinence, bowel control and accidental leakage, overactive bladder, pelvic pain & prolapse and prostate cancer support. Carrie is married with three boys. She enjoys spending her free time with her family bike riding, watching movies, cooking and reading. They are also active members of their church where they are involved in the choir and Carrie is a Stephen Minister.
