Candace Simpson, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, has always known she wanted to work in pediatrics and is passionate about caring for the family as a whole. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University and completed her advanced training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Candace is board certified as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and an International Board–Certified Lactation Consultant, with clinical interests in ADHD, lactation education and support, and asthma education.
Candace grew up in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is a wife to her husband Ben and a mom to Madeline, Brett, and Liza. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time outdoors with her dog Rosie and cat Leo. Since February 2026, she is primarily seeing patients at the Moncks Corner and Carnes Crossroads locations, where she enjoys building lasting relationships with families and serving as a dependable resource in their care.
Very attentive to details and she made my 13 year old daughter very comfortable talking to her.
My first time meeting her and she was great! She listened to me and reassured me as a first time mom it can be overwhelming and she helped cut through the noise and I really appreciated it.
She made my son very comfortable and really listened to his concerns. We will only be seeing her from now on.

This was our first time seeing Candace since our regular doctor wasn't available. We loved the time and attention she gave to our son to make sure he was heard and any and all questions were answered.
