She didn’t acknowledge my kids or me, just roughly told them to sit on the table. Quickly told me their test result and treatment, and I was out of there in 2 mins. I’m all about efficiency but there was no bedside manner with Brooke.

She was rude and unprofessional because I would not give my baby immunizations.

The only thing is my son had a really bad cough I believe she could have prescribed something for it. He had it for a long time like a week or more. She didn't prescribe anything. She only said take some honey? Weird I thought

Poor Beside manner. Provider seemed agitated before arrival in room. Healthcare can be intense but providers need to be able to put aside other stressors and show some compassion. Maybe she was just having a bad morning but other support staff seemed to indicate this was common for her.

She relocated to Charleston, SC, and completed her BSN at the Medical University of South Carolina.
She spent time as an RN in the pediatric emergency room and pediatric cardiology unit and then returned to school at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Doctorate of Pediatric Nursing Practice. In addition to practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, she is an educational program director and instructor for current pediatric nurse practitioner students. She is also fluent in Spanish.
