Brooke Hamilton, DNP, CPNP, grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree prior to joining the field of nursing.
She relocated to Charleston, SC, and completed her BSN at the Medical University of South Carolina.
She spent time as an RN in the pediatric emergency room and pediatric cardiology unit and then returned to school at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Doctorate of Pediatric Nursing Practice. In addition to practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, she is an educational program director and instructor for current pediatric nurse practitioner students. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Brooke and her husband have two children and one dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching Tar Heel basketball, and gardening.
