Brooke Hamilton, DNP, CPNP, grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree prior to joining the field of nursing.
She relocated to Charleston, SC, and completed her BSN at the Medical University of South Carolina.
She spent time as an RN in the pediatric emergency room and pediatric cardiology unit and then returned to school at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Doctorate of Pediatric Nursing Practice. In addition to practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, she is an educational program director and instructor for current pediatric nurse practitioner students. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Brooke and her husband have two children and one dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching Tar Heel basketball, and gardening.

Brooke took the time to truly listen to our concerns about our son and made us feel heard and understood. She provided clear guidance and a treatment plan that was easy to follow. She has a wonderful personality, and you can genuinely see how much joy she finds in helping children. We are very grateful for the care and support she provided!
Awesome NP did a great job diagnosing my daughter and following up.
Unfeeling with poor bedside manner. Seems to want to move you through the line and move onto the next patient without pausing to listen to your concerns or see if you have any questions.
Did not provide education or discuss 1 year old shots and also did not do the flouride.
Brooke is amazing and took the time to make sure we understood everything. Fantastic add to the team !
She came off as no bedside manner.
She didn’t acknowledge my kids or me, just roughly told them to sit on the table. Quickly told me their test result and treatment, and I was out of there in 2 mins. I’m all about efficiency but there was no bedside manner with Brooke.
She was rude and unprofessional because I would not give my baby immunizations.
