Ashley Greene, NP

Ashley Greene is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board-Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University and her Masters of Science in Nursing at University of Texas at Tyler.

Prior to joining San Antonio Family Physicians, Ashley worked as a registered nurse for Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in the Cardiothoracic and Transplant Intensive Care Unit. Ashley has over 5 years of experience as a certified critical care nurse in the management of cardiac critical care patients as well as patients on ECMO.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys cooking with her husband, traveling, spending time at the lake, and most of all spending time with her family.

Ashley’s experience in the intensive care unit has emphasized the importance of preventative care, expanded her attention to detail, and raised awareness of the importance of collaboration amongst the healthcare team to provide the best patient care. She believes in providing compassionate and individualized care through health promotion, education and counseling. She strives to build long-lasting and trusting relationships with patients by taking the time to listen and understand each patient’s needs.
