April Greenway, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is originally from Henderson, NC, earned her first bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from North Carolina State University in Raleigh before pivoting to nursing later in life. While raising two children, April pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Winston Salem State University, launching her nursing career in the Orthopedic trauma operating room at WakeMed.
Her trajectory evolved into the CardioThoracic ICU at WakeMed, where she navigated the complexities of critical care.
