Anne Jansen, PMHNP

Anne Jansen, PMHNP, has taken her from Philadelphia to the remote communities of Cold Bay and Aniak, Alaska, before eventually settling on Long Island. Growing up in such diverse environments fostered a deep sense of adaptability, resilience, curiosity, and an appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life.

Anne began her nursing career in Telemetry, where she developed a strong clinical foundation caring for patients with complex medical needs. She later discovered her true passion in inpatient Psychiatry, where she found fulfillment in helping individuals navigate mental health challenges and achieve meaningful, lasting change. Today, as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Anne is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and improve their overall quality of life.

Anne believes that mental health care is most effective when it is collaborative, individualized, and focused on the whole person. She works closely with her patients to develop treatment plans that support their unique goals and help them thrive both emotionally and physically.

Anne is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, reflecting her commitment to advancing her clinical expertise and remaining at the forefront of evidence-based psychiatric care.

Outside of her professional life, Anne enjoys traveling, hiking, attending concerts, photography, spending time with dogs, and tackling hands-on DIY projects. She believes that curiosity, creativity, and finding joy in everyday experiences are important components of overall wellness.

A lifelong adventurer, Anne once rode her Harley-Davidson across the country and was an active member of Women in the Wind, an international women’s motorcycling organization. That adventurous spirit continues to inspire both her personal and professional life, reinforcing her belief that growth, healing, and transformation are always possible.
