Anna Koester, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner at ADS, began her journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Moving to Nashville, she gained a solid foundation in critical care nursing and developed a keen interest in dermatology. This passion led her to pursue and achieve a Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner studies from Vanderbilt University.
Recognizing dermatology’s blend of diagnostic challenges and therapeutic opportunities, Anna was drawn to the field as it aligned with her clinical curiosity and desire to expand her medical knowledge. She takes pride in her holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing patient education on skin health and preventive measures. Additionally, Anna values empathy and strives to create an inclusive environment where patients are empowered to actively participate in their treatment decisions.
Anna is an Associate of the Phoenix Dermatology Society, International Dermoscopy Society, and Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Anna finds joy in exploring desert trails through hiking, perfecting her golf swing, enthusiastically supporting football and hockey teams, and engaging in creative DIY projects.
