I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 1998 and worked for several years as a Registered Nurse. I knew that a medical career was right for me when I discovered that I could remain calm and logical in very stressful situations, such as busy ICUs and Emergency Rooms.

I returned to BYU to earn a Masters Degree in Nursing as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I joined Canyon View Medical Group in 2003 and have really enjoyed working in the Springville office where I was the only female provider for several years.
Favorite work memory is that of an older gentleman who expressed tearful appreciation at the care I had provided to his wife. His love and dedication to her was inspiring

Ms Kirby was great. Seemed to know what she was talking about. Answered my questions. Offered respectable solutions to my concerns. Didn’t talk down to me, generally a good productive visit.
