After finding her passion for women’s healthcare, she pursued an advanced degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia completing her degree in 2008. She is board certified as a WHNP and she is a former labor and delivery nurse. After completing her advanced degree, Amy practiced as Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at a clinic in Newark, Delaware, that is very similar to CWHE, called “All About Women”. Amy is skilled in meeting the needs of her patients including gynecological annual exams, contraceptive and preconception counseling, IUD and Nexplanon insertions as well as GYN problems and peri-menopausal issues. She can perform minor procedures including endometrial and vulvar biopsies. She also cares for pregnant and postpartum patients in conjunction with the physicians. Amy enjoys getting to know her patients in a personal way so she can help tailor care to each woman’s particular needs.
Since Amy was raised in the Gig Harbor area, she and her family are excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. Amy and her husband have two active young sons that fill her leisure time. We are happy to welcome Amy to the Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen.
