Amanda Wiegel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with a significant amount of experience in the vascular field. Amanda was born and raised in Spring, Texas, where she began her career as a nurse over 10 years ago. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at Lone Star College–Montgomery in Conroe, Texas and then continued her education at University of Houston-Victoria to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). After this education, Amanda worked primarily in cardiac nursing at Memorial Hermann – TMC, Methodist – TMC, and CHI-St. Lukes in Houston.
To bolster her training, she continued graduate education in 2019 at Texas A&M earning her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in College Station, Texas. Amanda is a member of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TPN). Amanda served as a NP at the Vein Clinics of America and performed work in the aesthetics field before joining the StrideCare team. She has experience with various types of vascular procedures, including visually guided sclerotherapy and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy.
When she is not working, Amanda loves to read and enjoy the outdoors in her backyard. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, where she always has the best decorations on the block.
