I had a regular appt scheduled for Jan. 5th. I had a low grade fever 5 days before my appt. I went through the portal on Dec. 30th & again on Jan. 2nd with no response to either message. I then get ready & drive 45 minutes only to be told that I can't be seen. Someone should have messaged or called me. Whereas I do understand about not wanting to spread any diseases, it is in fact a doctor's office! That's where sick people go. I had tested for Covid & was negative. So I asked if they could swab me for the flu so, if I was negative, I could still have my appt. I was told they didn't have any flu kits for testing, and that I would have to go to a urgent care center for testing? I mean, the urgent care probably doesn't want the spreading of diseases in their office either. I've never been turned away by a doctor's office, and I've gone with chicken pox, measles, poison ivy, mumps, & other infections. I don't get it. And I'm not stupid. It's a -doctors- office, right?
