Amanda is wonderful!! She truly listens, is patient, asks questions and she works hard to better her patients lives!!
I was a patient of Amanda's at her previous practice in Chas.! I am so thankful that she has come to this practice where I can see her locally.

Amanda has taken the time I needed to discuss my medical problems that link Rheumatology, ENT and Pulmonary to multiple problems. She and I have had a tough situation moving forward due to other set backs that has stalled our progress. I believe we will get to where we want to be. Thank you for everything you have done to date!!

Amanda listens and and attempts to do some investigations to figure out what is truly going on instead of just throwing drug after drug at it with none of them working.

The most positive and helpful appointment I've had with a rheumatologist in a very long time! She's a great listener and was asking questions & connecting symptoms that I've wondered about for years. I learned a lot and have hope that I might get some help with my episodes.

Amanda Robertson, DNP, AGPCNP, was born and raised in Charleston, SC. In 2007, she graduated from the College of Charleston, where she earned her bachelor’s in biology with a minor in dance. She worked in a rheumatology practice as a medical assistant before applying to the nursing program at Trident Technical College. In 2011, she graduated with an associate’s degree in nursing. Following completion of her nursing program, she took a position as a rheumatology infusion nurse.
After four years of working as a registered nurse, Amanda wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing at the Mary Black School of Nursing at the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2016. In 2017, she was accepted into the nurse practitioner program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her doctorate in nursing in adult and geriatric primary care in 2020. She then worked as a rheumatology nurse practitioner for 3 years before moving to Myrtle Beach.
In May 2024, she joined Carolina Rheumatology and Neurology Associates as a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner. She is a member of the Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS), Infusion Nurses Society (INS), Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ARHP), Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Women in Rheumatology (AWIR), and Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and her 2 children, Stella and Gage, along with her 3 dogs. She is very thankful for the hard work and dedication of her medical assistant, Jessica Wansha.
