Amanda Polhemus, CPNP-PC, PMHS, grew up in Atlanta, GA. She went to school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she received an undergrad degree in Human and Organizational Development, and then her Master's in Nursing.
After school, she moved to Washington, DC, where she worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in various areas of Maryland. Amanda moved to the Charleston area in 2023. Additionally, in 2023, Amanda received her Primary Care Mental Health Specialist certification, a certification that focuses on the early recognition, intervention, and collaboration of care for children and adolescents with behavioral health concerns.
When Amanda isn't working, she enjoys going to the beach and exploring the Charleston area restaurants.
