Have been seeing Amanda for years and have my meds right wear I can have a pretty normal life without terrible pain. Was told by her this week that the State Of Ill. will no longer allow her to see pain management clients, that is silly. With all the blood work, urine test the Ortho Center does they have weeded out the drug seekers, etc. I was referred to the only pain management dr that works in Mt.Vernon, two days a week. I am so disappointed she will change what has worked for me for years. I have been told by a few people to expect he new dr to change the meds that have helped. I understand the opioid problem in the US, I am in law enforcement, but the State Of Ill is going about the problem the incorrect way.

The appt with Amanda was presented as receiving a Prolia shot. It was NEVER referred to as a consult when the initial appt was made with her office. Amanda did not follow my GP’s notes for the requested medication. She also scared me with all the worse possible scenarios related to the diagnosis while changing the medication and not discussing this with my GP prior to the initial visit with her.
