Alyssia Stevenson, FNP

Alyssia Stevenson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). With over 20 years of experience in nursing, Alyssia has dedicated her career to delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare across all stages of life.

A graduate of Manti High School, Alyssia began their medical at Snow College and completed it at Georgetown University. Her full list of degrees and certificates are below.

Earned Associate of Science (AS) degree from Snow College.
Received Licenced Practical Nursing (LPN) degree from Snow College.
Received Registered Nurse (RN) degree from Weber State University.
Bachelor of Science in nursing degree (BSN) from Maryville University - St Louis, Missouri.
Received Masters in Science (MS) degree and advanced nursing practice degree from Georgetown University, Washington DC.
Board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in Family Practice since 2021.
Alyssia has been working at Gunnison Valley Hospital since 2001 and continues to work there today. She has worked in various nursing roles including, Licensed Practical Nurse, Emergency Department Manager / Trauma Coordinator, and Registered Nurse / Charge Nurse.

Alyssia’s goal is to provide comprehensive healthcare to all individuals across the lifespan. She loves all aspects of healthcare. She is interested in helping all patients feel supported and live their best life using a personalized approach. Her approach emphasizes the importance of preventative health measures, empowering patients through education, and fostering a collaborative environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns.

She has a strong foundation in acute care medicine with specialized training completed in both emergent and in office procedures, as well as Botox, and other aesthetic procedures.

Alyssia has a passion for physical fitness and wellness. In her spare time, you can definitely find her running lots of miles and exploring. She loves both road and trail running. She has completed many World Major Marathons, including the prestigious Boston Marathon (which she completed 3 times), and has a goal to complete all of the World Major Marathons. She most recently completed her first 100 mile ultramarathon.

When not working you can find me adventuring with my family, cooking or baking up a new dessert, or scouting out a new restaurant to try!
