Allison Morning, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who worked in an emergency room for several years. She knew preventative medicine could improve clinically to help prevent visits to the ER, and now enjoys focusing on overall health and wellness.
Allison has experience with Hudson Physicians as a Nurse Practitioner student and working various shifts in clinic since 2018. She enjoyed her experience and decided she wanted to be part of the team. "I'm happy to be working at Hudson Physicians to provide the same great care I have always received." Morning states.
Allison's interest in medicine stems from a desire to help patients who struggle with everyday health concerns and provide them with a safe place to discuss these concerns to get the help they need. Inspired by her brother, who faced challenges after returning from his deployment, she wants to make a difference.
Allison was born in Ottawa, Ontario but has primarily lived in the U.S. since she was 13. She spent several years living in Hudson and enjoys the community and all it has to offer. Her interests include traveling with her husband (especially returning to Ottawa to indulge in poutine and flakies), practicing daily yoga, watching movies, and listening to music. She encourages good sleep habits which can be challenging with children and balances her love of sweets with healthier options.
