Very professional and attentive to my issues.

My NP is on maternity leave so I was scheduled today with Alissa…she listened to my concerns but I felt she didn’t appreciate how miserable I have been feeling with dizziness, severe nausea and instability since my BP meds were adjusted! She did make changes that will hopefully eliminate my terrible nausea and better manage my blood pressure. As a nurse myself, I did not feel satisfied with the information or her explanation of why my BP was not responding to the prior dosage adjustments. My BP was lower when I had forgotten to take my medication than when I did??? When I explained some circumstances negatively impacting my BP, she immediately referred me to my PCP (not her bailiwick to address) instead of being empathetic! I appreciate her schedule is congested but I was disappointed in her dismissive attitude…..very different from my always positive experiences with Dr Clay Warnick and the NP I usually see!! When I checked out, I was told an echo was ordered!! Never discussed???
