Alicia Kimball is a devoted wife, proud mother of seven, and a delighted grandmother. Her home life is full of energy and love, shared with her big family and two wild but lovable dogs. Growing up in a large, close-knit family herself, Alicia thrives in a lively and joyful environment.
She finds peace in the outdoors and enjoys kayaking, bonfires, camping, and swimming — all of which offer her a refreshing connection to nature. When the seasons shift, Alicia embraces the coziness of colder months, often found curled up in sweats and a blanket beside a warm fire, hot beverage in hand, and a good book. Her favorite reads are non-fiction works related to mental health, particularly memoirs and self-help books that broaden her perspective and enrich her practice.
Alicia follows an ovo-pescatarian lifestyle, incorporating fish, eggs, and dairy into a primarily vegetarian diet — a choice that reflects her personal values and commitment to wellness.
With twelve years of experience in nursing, Alicia began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), later becoming a Registered Nurse (RN), and now serves as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Her clinical background spans bedside care, outpatient services, emergency nursing, travel assignments, and education. For the past four years, she has focused her practice on supporting individuals facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Alicia is especially passionate about patient advocacy. She is committed to ensuring individuals receive the compassionate, informed care they deserve. Through raising awareness about patient rights and empowering patients to participate actively in their healthcare decisions, Alicia works to build a more understanding and equitable system — one where every voice matters.
