A New Jersey native, Carol attended Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and continued on to Boston University School of Nursing in 1986 and graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing, Maternal Child Health from the Yale University School of Nursing in 1988. Before coming to
work for County Ob/Gyn, Carol was a Nurse Midwife at Community Health Care Plan in New Haven.
Carol has been with County Ob/Gyn since 1996 and is our Chief Midwife. In addition to delivering babies, she specializes in well-woman gynecology, antepartum and postpartum care, contraceptive management, and perimenopause/menopause. She is also an Associate Professor with the Yale University Nursing Program.
She loves to travel and enjoys visiting Paris as often as she can. She resides in Madison with her husband and they try to spend as much time as possible with their two children, their spouses and one very special grandson.

Carol was very thorough for my first prenatal visit of my first pregnancy. She took her time going through all pertinent information and made sure all questions were answered. The only disappointing factor of the visit was her lack of acknowledgment towards my husband until the end of the visit.
She’s the best! Informative, understanding great perspective and willing to listen carefully to her patient creating comprehensive health plans.
Love her! She is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She knows who I am, she shows care, compassion and kindness.
