The front office staff is absolutely terrible. The amazing providers deserve better support, when you walk in the door, the two women who sit to check you in are incredibly rude and make every visit uncomfortable. If it wasn't for our doctor, I would change offices.

I think your office is very well run Dr Thompson is excellent.

Their front desk staff is incredibly unpleasant. They do not communicate as needed. Trying to get them to confirm any information is like pulling teeth, they answer only in assumptions. Then you are made to feel like a difficult patient because you ask for confirmation. I try to follow my doctors directions, only to be met with such resistance from the receptionists. The nurses and doctors are great, but this year has been rough with their support staff.

Dr. Thompson is a doctor who speaks to you and not at you. Very easy to talk to.

Used the portal to communicate my concerns and git an appointment later that same day with Emily Gadney. Happy with office staff as well.. everyone was great.

I went right into an exam room. The nurses and reception are very helpful. Dr Sarah Thompson is excellent, and thorough.

Dr’s are not allowed more than 15 minutes with each patient. Patients are feeling like they’re being pushed out of the room.

Emily is outstanding! She really cares what I was saying. The nurse was not pleasant at all. Never said her name n seemed to be mad she was even there.

I waited for 25 minutes as the only person in the waiting room, because the person who checked me in forgot to mark me as being here.

Called at 8am and didn’t get nurse callback for 1.5hrs. Also, we waited a long time (30 min) in exam room to see doctor. These are not unreasonable, but was definitely not the norm for the last 10 years. HHH feels much more “assembly line” compared to past practice :-(

Excited that new doctors are coming to the Saranac Lake Location. I particularly like the Patient Portal. Questions and concerns are addressed in a timely fashion--the last concern addressed by 8:15 a.m.. Is not as cumbersome as calling the office and waiting for a nurse to be available or have a call back.

Saranac Lake Family Health is awesome! They treat their patients with care, kindness and a very accommodating. We called Saranac Lake Family Health when Plattsburgh's Hudson Headwaters would not see our child when they were sick. They could not provide a sick visit with our doctor. The nurse was very rude. They run the Plattsburgh office like a business and do not show care and consideration for their patients when they are sick and struggling.
