Pete integrates existential therapy, CBT/REBT, DBT skills, and Stoic philosophy to help clients work through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and struggles with meaning and purpose. His therapeutic philosophy, “Arch Theory,” emphasizes choice, responsibility, and validation of the client’s lived experience. Pete’s goal is not just to help clients feel better but to support them in actually getting better.
Outside of counseling, Pete has been married to his wife for 33 years, and together they have raised three grown sons. He enjoys traveling and eating good food, and in his spare time he can often be found reading, writing, and editing—and then, for good measure, doing some more editing.
