Alexandra Headley is a clinical trainee and soon-to-be Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Associate (LPCC-A). Raised in Plano, Texas, Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in General Studies, minoring in Mathematics, English, and Psychology, at Texas State University in 2021, followed by a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an athletics focus from Springfield College, Massachusetts in 2025. Alex began her career in rural community mental health at Stafford Family Services in Connecticut.
Alex provides comprehensive mental health care to children ages six and older as well as adults across the lifespan. A former NCAA Division I track-and-field athlete now pursuing her Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential, she also specializes in sport and performance psychology. Alex has supported youth and collegiate athletes in men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, track and field, hockey, and more. She also partners with coaches to lead workshops on communication, team values, concentration, self-control, IZOF, and other performance-enhancing topics. Passionate about helping individuals thrive, Alex is committed to meeting people exactly where they are.
Outside the clinic, Alex enjoys playing with her dog, gardening, reading, and sharing her love of baking and cooking with friends and family.
She is currently accepting patients at the Floodwood Medical Clinic.
