Very good

I was injured by cat bites while visiting BC. Drove for about 6 hours and with No appointment they took care of me, as my insurance doesn't cover Emergency service there at the hospital, they took care of me in the office. They have had me coming to see them every couple of days to make sure my hand doesn't get worse and trying to get the swelling down. They are just wonderful.

Stopped in today to get some help with a bad lingering cough. Claudia was so thoughtful & caring, i really felt she was so genuine in wanting to help me. There was a new trainee with Lily at first & they were so sweet. I had an all around excellent experience until i was leaving. Vanessa was the last nurse to help me. My prescriptions had not been sent over until about 30m before the pharmacy closed. The pharmacy called to check my insurance & they do not take it. I was not able to get 2/3 scripts filled as the next closest pharmacy would be closed by the time i got there & out of pocket was too expensive. The inhalers are truly needed, & now i wont have them until tomorrow. It was clear how much i needed them when i was in there, so it is frustrating, thankfully the advice of Claudia seems to be helping me already significantly.

All in all I had a very good visit. The reason I gave 4 ****: I think when one enters a prompt.(I cameat 8:04 a.m. for a blood draw; not another soul was in the lobby, the office person took her time to look up, greet, and inquire why I was there after I greeted her.)I explained I was there for a blood draw, then also just inquired if I might get a pneumonia immunization. Was told no, that had to be an appointment, and then after some pause, well if a nurse were here (really??? The place is open and there might not be a nurse here!!??) so I said fine thinking I’ll just go to Safeway. In the end she did check and I did end up getting my pneumococcal vaccine too. Both Sulema, my blood draw lab tech, and Veronica , the nurse who gave me shot were awesome, competent, and friendly. I would not use “friendly” as my first adjective in describing front desk person. The face of an office ( first person one encounters) would be better served to have someone who gives a helpful 1st impression.

Amber Dacy is AWESOME! I appreciate that she listens and is interested in treating the cause and not solely focused on symptoms. She takes time to listen, ask questions, and understand the whole picture whereas most providers are only interested in seeing you for 5 minutes, prescribing drugs, and kicking you out the door.

I love my physician’s Assistant— Amber. She takes time with her patients and is so kind.

I am traveling through the area on summer vacation when I developed symptoms of a medical issue bi felt needed addressed but didn't require an emergency room. The staff was able to give me a same day appointment. They completed my intake paperwork quickly and got me into an exam room at my appointment time. I didn't have to wait long to be seen. Some lab work was completed, results discussed in terms I understood, and treatment plan taken care of in timely manner.
