Our retinal care services include diagnostic testing such as fluorescein angiography, as well as treatments such as eye injections (Avastin, Lucentis, Eylea), vitrectomy, and scleral buckle. Our retina research center also participates in many clinical trials.
With locations in Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens, we are easily accessible for patients in Brooklyn, Elmhurst, Flushing, Great Neck, Hauppauge, Riverhead, Rockville Centre, and beyond.

1st time patient, referred by Dr. G. Taub, regarding Retinal concerns due to eye Flashes. Dr. Shakin and his staff made certain my pupils were fully dilated. It took several tries, but he was very patient and thorough. Me, too. I did NOT feel rushed. My concerns were heard, examined, and addressed. Looking forward to NEXT visit. Thank you to the front desk team member that handled my initial intake and secured my records from Dr. Fox, office. All around good first visit experience! And, I’m okay., which was even better news!
