Alyse Stern, PA-C
Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard and somewhat dismissed. The doctor seemed a bit frantic and repeatedly went over the same points without giving me much opportunity to speak. Whenever I tried to ask questions about my concerns or treatment options, I often felt interrupted or unable to finish what I was saying. It gave me the impression that my questions were more of an inconvenience than a normal part of the visit. Medical care and health insurance are expensive, and as a patient, I am paying for these appointments because I value my health and want to better understand my care. I should feel comfortable asking questions without feeling like I’m being a bother or taking up too much of the doctor’s time. Every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their own health. I hope future visits provide a more welcoming environment where patients can ask questions and leave feeling informed rather than dismissed.
