Founded in 1997, North Carolina Retina Associates has spent more than two decades in service to the Triangle area. Our team specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders involving the retina, macula and vitreous, including rare conditions like Uveitis and Secondary tracheln lenses. We are the largest retina practice in North Carolina, with the most focused approach to patient care.
Our mission is to bridge convenience and efficiency with the technical skill necessary to get the best results possible for any individual we treat. Our care model is inclusive, meaning we take patients any day and at any time, regardless of whether or not they have insurance. Given the delicate nature of retinal care, we’re also mindful of the physical environments we create. Each of our eight modern offices is designed to be soothing and comfortable.
Our team’s extensive training allows us to use the most modern and advanced techniques to treat your condition – and our compassion guides us to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Known for our warm, inviting personalities, we function as a unit of care and camaraderie for our community of patients, and we’re proud of the exceptional reviews we receive.
As a practice deeply invested in finding new and optimal treatments for patients, the future of retinal care is woven into our day-to-day mindset. We are in construction on two dedicated two research centers – one adjacent to our Cary office, and the other adjacent to our Wake Forest office. From these centers, we aim to advance the standard of retinal care locally and nationally.
