Excellent doctor. He checks all the boxes of my expectations.

My appt was at 11AM. I arrived at 10:45 AM. I did my paperwork online in advance. After checkin, I began waiting for what would be a VERY long time. At least 6 people who arrived after I did went back while I waited. Around 11:20, the receptionist poked her head out & asked my name. I was not overly concerned as doctors usually run behind. Around 11:35, I asked if everything was ok, & was told I was next. I was called to go back around 11:42. I undressed & got into “position” on the table & began waiting, again! After 20 minutes of lying down exposed & uncomfortable I sat up. The provider finally came into the room around 12:10, 1hr 10min after my scheduled appt time. As a healthcare administrator of more than 20 years, I get it! Stuff happens! BUT there is one thing I cannot get over. No one, not one person, said they were sorry! I especially expected the provider to offer some apology. My treatment was fine, no issues. But if I had been JUST 15 min late I wouldn’t have been seen.

Dr.Wessels was awesome, very understanding and reassuring about diagnosis and individual treatment plan. The doctor and his staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! I really appreciated Dr.Wessels advice, I felt he was very sincere and cared! Thank you for a great experience!
