The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center was started in 1983 by Dr. Richard Baker and Dr. William Jones to provide superior orthopedic and wellness services to Manhattan area residents. Just came in felt the back of my leg and told me just keep wearing the boot until it filled I spent the last of my $250 for that at least they could have done was give me an MRI see if anything was torn in my calf or anything but to walk in and to be seen like that and then just let go that was a waste of my $250 I could have sat at home

Over the years, OSMC has added several physicians and satellite clinics throughout northeast Kansas. In October of 2002, the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center was opened in its present location. Modifications to the current building were made in late 2010 to include a new doctors’ pod and a new location for physical therapy.
