Santos H. Yu, M.D.
The doctor and staff were thorough and personable. Everything was explained to me as to what tests were needed to take care of my medical problems.

My normal appointment with Marites was rescheduled with Michelle. Wish I had cancelled. She is No Marites! Not a listener. Obviously concerned with time and her agenda. I am a person not a checklist. Will never see her again and if Marites keeps cancelling appointments, I’m not sure…

I felt dismissed and unheard. Basically told me my test was normal and I could not discuss other concerns as it "may not be covered by your insurance so we will bill you for out of pocket expenses".

I didn’t want to give him this rating but I didn’t have a choice. He greeted me when he came in, so I felt good. But then it changed. Maybe I need to advocate for myself and ask questions, but he didn’t explain to me my MRI results. I have to ask where it is and how big it is and the nurse practitioner observing him answered for me. I was trying to explain all my symptoms. I tried but he kept saying “no.” He kept emphasizing that it wasn’t the meningioma in my head that’s causing the aches and pains or pressure I’m feeling. When he kept saying no, I shut down. He further explained that I’m not going to die. Which I know that, and I let him know as well. He said my tumor is the same size from my last MRI. Great, but I felt that I couldn’t ask him anything, couldn’t share all my symptoms. He recommended seeing an ENT. And a follow-up in 3-6 months but not with him with someone else. I don’t think I want to go back to this place.

Monica Chacon, M.D.
We absolutely love Monica Chacon. She consistently takes the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that is clear and reassuring, and she keeps detailed, thoughtful notes in my daughter’s file, which we truly appreciate.
We’ve never had any issues, and the level of care has always been exceptional. My daughter has been her patient for four years now, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and attention she provides at every visit.

He was nice enough, but didn’t seem prepared even after coming into the exam room 40 mins after the scheduled appointment time. He still had to sort through the file and his computer before discussing MRI results and asking questions.
